Pixelovers builds custom arcade and bartop machines in Castuera (Badajoz, Spain) and sells geeky T-shirts, gaming peripherals, gaming PCs and collectibles. A store with a retro soul that had to show it from the very first pixel.

Customers pick the vinyls, mouldings, joysticks and buttons of their arcade and see the price instantly before buying.
Real arcade look and feel
A galaxy-far-away intro, START buttons that press down, original pixel art and animations that never get in the way of buying.
Own theme, no dependencies
Custom design on WooCommerce, with no paid templates or page builders: faster and no licences to expire.
The project
Selling arcade machines means selling nostalgia. The Pixelovers website embraces the arcade world — text scrolling away among the stars, a Pac-Man-style chase, a comic-book background full of "POW!" — without losing sight of what matters: making it easy to configure and order your machine.
Behind it is a complete store: search that suggests products as you type, categories with price and stock filters, card, Bizum and PayPal payments, wishlist and product comparison. All on a theme we coded ourselves, so the website depends on no one.
